Purple is a very rare colour in nature; some people consider it to be artificial. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance. Purple is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic.

I’m surprised nobody is commenting on how Alissa performs the old Arch Enemy songs. That’s usually the first thing people start arguing about when a new singer comes along. I personally think, from all the videos I’ve seen so far, she nails the snot out of them. I bet part of it is that she truly was a huge fan of the band beforehand, so she already had an idea of how she should perform them. Singers like Kristen and Anette were not too familiar with the catalog they would be singing before they joined, so the live shows were not as good at first. Alissa was able to skip the period of learning all the lyrics and the notes and start worrying about more detailed aspects right off the bat, which seems to have worked to her advantage tremendously. I for one couldn’t be happier that Alissa joined Arch Enemy. There is absolutely no one else more suited to fill Angela’s shoes than her.
